This summer has been a very eventful one for the Hoi
Polloi. Apart from ongoing meetings, discussions and
organising, the team resorted to its cooking hats and
builders shoes which came really handy this summer.
Activities
kicked off on July 4th with a fun and highly
entertaining BBQ at Razzett tal-Hbiberija. The
atmosphere was impeccable and the food was delicious.
Several singers entertained the crowd with their
wonderful voices and a number of actors prepared a
comical sketch entitled ‘Dating Tips for Men’ which made
the crowd burst into laughter. Another Hoi Polloi
BBQ was held on 3rd August, this time on the majestic
beach of Ghadira. The event started at 15.00 hours for
those who wanted to take a dip in the cool waters while
the late nighters joined the beach party at sunset for
mouth watering food, dancing and chilling out under the
stars. Special thanks go to Jeanette, Alessio and Marisa
for the delicious food on both occasions, and to all
those who have landed a helping hand in both bbqs.
Apart from
the preparation required for these two events, Hoi
Polloi was busy redecorating its new meeting place
all throughout the summer. This space will now serve as
a meeting place, a storage room and as the company’s
wardrobe. Many thanks goes to Johanna, Maria, Marco,
Alex and John Paul who made this conversion possible.
Unfortunately all good things come to an end and Hoi
Polloi’s workshop with Ben Darmanin closed down a
very memorable summer. Hoi Polloi is now working on new
equally exciting activities, workshops and productions
