After five years of involvement in various theatrical activities in his hometown, Marco set up HOI POLLOI THEATRE PRODUCTIONS in 2004. Hoi Polloi means "common people" in greek and this suggests one of the company’s targets: to promote the involvement of those who are inexperienced in the performing arts in its shows. From experience we at Hoi Polloi believe that ambition and commitment can go a long way and that is what gives you experience.

The whole idea is to help others through theatre and even though the group is still young it has already started doing so. The aims behind Hoi Polloi Theatre Productions are:

• encouraging self-esteem and friendship by producing high quality shows
• developing the potential of those people who never had to opportunity to grow in the performing arts.
• contributing to the needs of society.

In just a few years, Hoi Polloi Theatre Productions has managed to capture the hearts of many of those who were somehow involved, cast and audiences alike. That is what it plans to keep doing.
