Beatrice Brockdorff

BEATRICE, mezzo soprano, started her musical career at the early age of 6 years, learning piano with Sir B Eastwood, and was immediately asked to join the choir directed by the same teacher.  She continued her instrument studies and also learned how to play the piano accordion and clarinet.  Beatrice studied voice and technique with Soprano Antoinette Miggiani and took part in various concerts, viz, Debutantes Concert, Malta Cultural Institute, Russian Cultural Institute, various local council concerts and has been invited to give a concert at the Presidential Palace at Attard. 

She also sang the part of Mammia Lucia in Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana. Beatrice teaches piano and singing and various local popular singers who have been or are still been coached by her like, Julie Zahra, Nadine Axisa, Ina Robinich, Manuel Xuereb, Graziana Axisa, and others. Beatrice also directs the choir formed of young ones and young adults called ‘Angel Voices’, who took part in various concerts and TV shows like f' Bahar Wiehed, recorded a TV programme of Christmas carols and sang live on the popular Saturday Night Programme ‘Showtime’.
